Frediablo, the sick mind behind insane projects like Necrophagia and Wurdulak, just to mention some, reaches with this new
crature the second work on the long distance. Helped by excellent names of the norwegian extreme scene, he offers us his
own mix of violent brutal death metal, very close (apart from his Necrophagia) to the US Mortician, and then to be put
within the frame of the proper gore-splatter current of today death metal. The songs are all rather heavy and brutal, even if
a not too fitting production does not allow them to express in all their power. The structure of the songs is never too
fast, prefering the heaviness of riffing to elasticity, while the rhythmical section is dried to the bone, intentionally simple,
sometimes boring for as much reduced to the bone as it is. The voice is rotten beyond recognition, and often uses a more
proper black metal screaming than death metal growl. The experiment of "Outback" is very strange, being it a sweet slow instrumental
track, truly contrasting with the rest of the album atmosphere, soaked of unleashed sound violence. Substantially, we are in
front of a rather interesting album but that maybe should need to become high (just to remain in the point) a bit longer
before to be given to eat. Just for serial killers.
